2005 is the 15th anniversary of the Leicester Longwool's return to the United States. A celebration will be held at the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival the 1st week of May, 2005

All day Saturday and Sunday in the Leicester Longwool Tent near the Exhibiton Hall

Celebrating the 15th anniversary of the return of Leicester Longwool sheep to the U.S., the Leicester Longwool Sheep Breeders Association brings Ivan Heazlewood from Tasmania, Lee Parsons from the U.K., and Dr. Philip Sponenberg from Virginia Tech for a Card Grading event, Shepherd Seminars in the Dining Hall and much more.
