Job Opportunities at Colonial Williamsburg

Unfortunately my co-worker Carrie MacDougall has decided to become a full time spinner and weaver with the Historic Trades department here at Colonial Williamsburg. It will be good to have an advocate in the textile department but it leaves a full time job open at Coach and Livestock. We are looking for someone with livestock skills and the speaking skills to talk to the variety of visitors we have. The job is full time year round and includes benefits; it involves working with sheep, cattle, poultry and to a small extent pigs. Our department has low turn over and the average years worked is about 12. It is an interesting and varied place to work. Anyone who is interested in this job can look at Colonial Williamsburg’s web site history.org or give me a call and I will be happy to discuss it with you. 757-220-1019. Please pass this along to folks who might be interested, keep those recent or upcoming graduates in mind!
